CUMBERLAND — Debbie Ann McCullough, 52, of  Cumberland, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at home.

Born Oct. 11, 1961 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of  Audrey Dailey McCullough, of Cumberland and the late Urcel Stanley McCullough. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donnie McCullough and a niece, Brenda Dailey Adams.

Miss McCullough was involved in programs with Friends Aware. Debbie participated in Special Olympics and enjoyed bowling.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Opal Tadle and husband Rick, of Cumberland; four brothers, Harold C. Abe and wife Louise, of Reinbeck, Iowa, Raymond L. Abe and wife Sandy, of Cheyenne, Wy., Glenn A. Abe, of Ridgeley, W.Va. and Mike McCullough, of Florida; several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Charlotte Turner and Irene McLaughlin.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Benny Brakeall officiating.

Interment will be in Abe Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Abe, Raymond Abe, Glenn Abe, Rick Tadle, Nathan Frye and Scott Abe.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Council for Exceptional Children and Adults for the kind, compassionate care provided to Debbie. They also are grateful to Service Coordination for their assistance.
